Advanced TypeScript & API Architecture
Level up from JavaScript to production-grade TypeScript and learn to design scalable, well-documented APIs.
About This Course
Syllabus PDFThis course is built for developers who already know JavaScript and want to write safer, more maintainable code with TypeScript, then apply that rigor to designing real-world APIs. You'll move beyond basic type annotations into generics, advanced types, and patterns used in large production codebases.
On the API side, you'll design both REST and GraphQL APIs from scratch, learning how to structure resources, handle versioning, and document endpoints so other developers can actually use them. You'll also learn key system design concepts like caching, rate limiting, and pagination.
Throughout the course you'll refactor an existing loosely-typed JavaScript codebase into strict TypeScript, then design and build a GraphQL API for a multi-tenant SaaS application, complete with authentication and role-based access control.
Graduates leave this course able to confidently review pull requests, catch type-related bugs before they ship, and architect APIs that scale cleanly as a product grows.
